ABOUT THE ROLE
The Digital, Content and Communications Coordinator is a full-time role and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the website, online channel, digital content production, and implementation of Fathering Project digital, content, and communications activities, ensuring that they are completed successfully.
KEY FUNCTIONS
- Develop and implement digital communication campaigns that promote and enhance TFP’s presence and contribute to the maximisation of messaging, revenue, and fundraising opportunities across a range of mediums including online, print, and media.
- Manage the day to day requirements and functionality of a seamless customer website experience.
- Implement digital and social media strategies and campaigns, content calendars and measure and report on the effectiveness of campaigns, delivering data insights and actionable recommendations.
- Reporting to the National Marketing and Communications Manager, the Digital, Content and Communications Coordinator will support the digital footprint, content and communications needs of TFP.
- The Marketing & Communications team is responsible for promoting, positioning and protecting TFP’s brand and reputation nationally, and supports the whole organisation
ABOUT YOU
- Demonstrated and significant experience in a dedicated digital and communications/ engagement and content creation role with at least 3+ years experience
- Advanced content writing and storytelling skills including translating complex or research-based information into simple, effective, and targeted communications for a range of audiences
- Experience creating engaging communication outputs including drafting and designing content for websites and social media platforms
- Not for profit sector experience is desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, marketing or a relevant field
- Proven track record in contributing to the development of, and implementing communications, digital and other campaigns that promote organisational presence/reputation, stakeholder engagement and deliver returns
- Proficient skills in Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop, Premier - videography and editing skills
- Website management skills in WordPress, adding pages, page descriptions, metadata descriptions, optimising pages for SEO, adding design elements and updating links
- General comms/marketing/promotions and content creation experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight timelines
- A can-do attitude and a keen interest to work effectively in a highly collaborative team environment
