We are growing and currently have a Support Worker vacancy working across Sydney suburbs supporting participants to achieve their NDIS plan goals. The role

We are looking for experienced Psycho-social/Mental health Support Workers to fill positions that we have available in the Sydney and surrounding areas.

You will provide a range of support services, dependent upon the client's requirements, 7 days a week. You need to have experience with complex personality disorders and challenging behaviours. You should be an empathetic and pragmatic thinker, be able to work both independently and within a team environment. You must have an in depth understanding and experience of using person-centred approach.

Our clients require Support Workers who will assist them to maintain and increase their independence by supporting them with personal care, domestic activities, social and community participation and transportation.

Essential requirements:

  • Must have recent experience working in a mental health setting. Minimum 3 years experience working within the Mental Health environment is required.
  • Cert IV in Mental Health.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have a reliable, registered and Comprehensively insured vehicle.
  • Have a current Driver's Licence.
  • Own a smart phone with Internet access.
  • Current National Police Clearance.
  • Current Working with Children check.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Valid working rights within Australia.
