The Anne Kantor Fellowship
The Australia Institute is Australia’s leading independent think-tank. We produce high-quality, timely research designed to have impact across a broad range of economic, social, accountability and environmental issues.
Our aim is to provide our Fellows with a unique experience that provides on-the-job training to help equip and encourage new voices in Australia’s future policy and democratic debates. Fellows will develop a broad understanding of how research and advocacy work and learn how to turn ideas into impact.
To be eligible, you must satisfy the following criteria:
In this role, you will learn to draft and edit copy for media releases, social media and video scripts; pitch research and story ideas to journalists; film video content and record podcasts; edit videos and design content for the Institute’s social media channels including Twitter, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
We are looking for people who have an interest in media, journalism, communications and politics and who are keen to make an impact on big issues such as inequality, climate change and accountability.
