  • Salary: $60,000 per annum pro-rata + super and salary packaging
  • Location: Melbourne with flexible part-time working from home
  • Reports to: Director Purpose & Impact

This exciting new position will work with the Director P&I to ensure TFN is achieving its purpose, building non-profit sector capacity and deepening its impact. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a small, hard-working and passionate team whose culture is one of creativity, collaboration, diversity and innovation.

ABOUT THE FUNDING NETWORK

Since 2013, The Funding Network (TFN) Australia has been bringing people together to find, fund and support grassroots social change programs that directly help people in need. Through our interactive live crowdfunding events, TFN connects grassroots non-profits to people and organisations interested in investing their money, time and talent to drive social change. This increases the ability of the non-profit sector to deliver life-changing services while spreading the joy of giving and deepening community engagement. TFN has generated over $15.5 million for 367 non-profit programs.

OUR PURPOSE

To build the capacity of grassroots non-profits, deepen the culture of giving and facilitate greater community engagement.

THE ROLE

The primary purpose of this role is to work with the Director to drive purpose, capacity and impact to ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of The Funding Network. The role will have a focus on building and strengthening the capacity of the non-profit sector.

The role will include contributing to the delivery of:

  • TFN’s Live and virtual crowdfunding events program
  • Implementation of an enhanced Alumni Program
  • Impact Reporting and Measurement Evaluation
  • TFNs capacity building offerings; pitch coaching and impact workshops

ABOUT YOU

You are an energetic, highly productive person with a genuine passion for the non-profit sector. You may have already started your career in the non-profit or philanthropic sector, or you are keen to bring your skills to the non-profit sector. You are an excellent communicator who can tailor both written and spoken style to a broad mix of audiences. You are highly organised, goal orientated with a love of implementing systems and processes that help create efficiency. You are comfortable using a CRM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and platforms such as Cognito. If you ooze passion and energy and you love the idea of supporting a small dynamic team to help the non-profit sector thrive, then we would love to hear from you.

  • Is a team player who can work autonomously
  • Takes initiative, self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Experience in or understanding of non-profit sector and/or grant-making
  • Is adaptable and flexible
  • Has a passion for building the capacity of the non-profit sector
