THE ROLE

We're looking for an experienced Sales or Relationship Manager who can work with manufacturers, offices or government to develop tailored “second life” solutions for their waste, from face masks and protective equipment, to office supplies, faulty packaging, or manufactured products.

This is a Full Time role, reporting to the ANZ Head of Business Development.

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishing the “B2B division” of our Business Development team across Australia and New Zealand. This includes hiring and leading one/several business development associates
  • Building, maintaining, and effectively managing a healthy sales pipeline
  • Researching and evaluating potential new partners in the B2B space
  • Negotiating contract terms
  • Liaising with our internal teams including R&D, Pricing, Operations and Project Management teams to confirm feasibility and supply chain
  • Liaising with the Marketing & Communications team to strategise and support with accompanying marketing services as needed by the client
  • Working with the Account Management team to successfully handover clients once signed

ABOUT YOU:

You are motivated to use your sales or relationship management skills in manufacturing, waste / facilities management, or council / government partnerships, towards a sustainable purpose.

  • 4-5 years experience in Sales / Account Management
  • Experience devising business growth strategies
  • Team management experience
  • Familiarity with supply chain / manufacturing would be advantageous
  • Waste Management/Recycling/Sustainability experience a plus, but not mandatory
  • A solid understanding of how to thrive in a results-driven environment.
  • Problem-solving, analytical, planning and project management skills.
  • Interpersonal and partnership building skills.
  • A demonstrated interest in sustainability.
  • Ability to travel occasionally interstate and overseas
