About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Mental Health Supports Manager provides strategic and operational leadership and management to provide increased opportunities for recovery for people whose lives are severely affected by mental illness. The range of supports are provided in people’s homes, centre based and in the community. Utilising a strengths-based approach and providing intensive one to one or group support the supports delivered include capacity building, increased social and community participation, individual skills development and community access.

Possessing qualifications in health, mental health, community services or relevant discipline plus five (5) years management experience, the successful applicant will have demonstrated capability to operate and think strategically displaying strong business acumen and a high level of initiative.

This position is initially a fixed term contract for up to 12 months and is available on a part time basis up to 22.8 hours per week.

The successful applicant will be required to have a current National Police Certificate, Working with Children Clearance, NT Driver’s Licence and completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
