Be part of the roll out of the NDIS Partners in the Community – Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) - providing important support to families of children (under 7 years) with a disability or developmental delay in South East Queensland.
To support the continuous improvement and growth of this important program, we require a Workplace Trainer.
The Benevolent Society has been chosen as a NDIS Partner in the Community to deliver ECEI across Brisbane North/South, Beenleigh/ Logan (including Redlands), and Caboolture/ Strathpine.
The ECEI program is funded by the NDIA, and, in line with evidence-based best practice, is designed to provide a range of flexible and responsive supports for children with developmental delay or disability and their families. The Team is responsible for connecting families with the best supports to meet their needs and to promote long-term outcomes for the whole community. The approach supports greater inclusion for children by building on family strengths and growing the capacity and awareness of mainstream and community services to support children with developmental delay or disability.
During the establishment and implementation phase of the ECEI program, with expected growth and change to the way we deliver the Early Childhood Approach, the Workplace Trainer role will play a critical role in onboarding new team members and training existing the new teams in upcoming changes to NDIS systems and processes.
You will play a key role in ensuring the new teams have necessary knowledge and training required to ensure quality implementation of the program changes and excellence in service delivery to children and families.
You will partner with key stakeholders in our team including Team Leaders, Snr Practitioners and the Managers to assess skills gaps and future needs to insure continuous quality improvement and alignment with best practice in this space. Drawing on your practice experience, you will plan, design and implement tailored learning solutions to support change and growth in our workforce.
Terms: Full time ongoing role available. Location negotiable – options include Caboolture, Milton and Loganholme.
