At The Benevolent Society, we’ve been supporting people to live their life, their way, since 1813.

Your new role

Team leaders are one of the most important roles. You’re hands on and you lead a group of people to deliver great practice and better outcomes for the families they work with. You manage relationships with partner organisations, and coordinate referrals for the best outcomes.

In your new role you’ll be a leading a team based across Tamworth, NSW. You’ll support the team to build amazing, culturally safe practice. And you’ll be backed not only by an experienced manager, but also our Practice and Impact Management team (we call them PIMS).

About you

You’re passionate about leading a team to make a difference. You understand the team leader role is one where you can make the biggest difference by supporting your people to deliver services and supports that enable families, young people and children to live their life, their way. Whatever that means.

You have a strong understanding of the child protection space and a passion for coaching others to be more.

What’s in it for you?

How about flexibility in the way you work? Then there’s options to purchase up to 2 weeks of annual leave, access to long service leave after 5 years, paid parental leave, employee assistance program, discount fitness membership…

What you need to succeed?

You’re an experienced team leader with a child protection background. We prefer you to be degree qualified, but we also understand that’s not everyone’s path.

We also prefer that you have experience leading a team. Importantly you’re about people – clients and your team. And what links people is great practice.
