Our ECEI Planning Team works with parents and carers of children with a disability or developmental delay (aged 0-6 years) to consider funded supports and community and mainstream connections that will support them to better participate in the community and reach their full potential.

About the role:

  • Leading a dedicated team of Child Development Specialists, you will provide clear, fair and focused leadership, professional supervision, practice support and learning opportunities.
  • You will work collaboratively with families, community partners and other stakeholders to improve outcomes for children and their families.

You will lead a team of Child Development Specialists and Allied Health Professionals to work with families and other key stakeholders to access the ECEI pathway of the National Disability Insurance Scheme by providing clear, fair and focused leadership, professional supervisions and practice support.

Terms: Max term full time contract expiring in June 2022, based in Milton, QLD.

What you need to succeed?

You will have solid experience leading a team engaging with vulnerable adults, child and/or families and:

  • People leadership experience with the ability to build and develop an engaged, high performing team
  • Good management skills including troubleshooting, managing multiple deadlines and conflict resolution
  • Pragmatic approach to problem solving, decision making and manage balancing priorities
  • Working in a collaborative, cross functional way with teams, peers and stakeholders to achieve outcomes
  • A degree qualification in Social Work or Psychology or related discipline
