Your new role:

The Senior Case Manager in Resilient Families makes a difference.

Working in an intensive family support model, you’ll support families with complex vulnerabilities to keep children and young people safe and provide families with their best opportunity to stay together. The goal is to reduce the number of children and young people entering out of home care.

About you

You’re an experienced case manager / social worker who is able to provide practical and therapeutic support in the home environment.

You’re all about evidence-based practice – that’s how we promote wellbeing and work with families to strengthen their functional family relationships.

About you:

You’ll have experience working in a child, youth and family program with a strong child protection focus. We think you’ll need around 3 years of experience to be successful.

  • A degree is preferred, but we’re open to talking to experienced candidates who can demonstrate how they keep their practice up to date and informed.
  • Ability to actively engage families with complex needs using client-centred, strengths based approached
  • An interest and/or experience in male inclusive practice
  • High level written and verbal communication
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and/or CALD communities and families would be a bonus.
  • Passion for evidence informed practice with an outcomes focus.
  • Current driver’s license. Vehicles are available for work use.
