We are looking for a passionate Project Officer to join our Communities for Children team to manage consultation with our stakeholders to initiate the next stage of our community partnership.

In this varied role, you will lead a community consultation and development project for our Communities for Children partnership program including but not limited to conducting a community needs and strengths analysis, identify, evaluate priority areas and partners for future funding opportunities for our Communities for Children partnership program. The position will ensure appropriate consultation and participation and feedback to the community and stakeholders using a project framework and timeline. Advise on community consultation outcomes and provide final report and recommendations based on the project requirements.

Terms: Full time (contract 30 June 2021) position based in Campbelltown, NSW.

What you need to succeed?

As an experienced community project officer you will have

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Community development background and a Strong sector knowledge and ability to translate this to required developments
  • Extensive Project management skills and experience working with community groups and Organisations
  • Strong communicator able to engage and connect a range of stakeholders, create networks
  • Strong networking and collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead, anticipate needs and work independently and creatively
  • “Yes” mentality and approach with perseverance
