Your role

As the music therapist you will use evidence-based techniques to facilitate, evaluate and tailor each client’s needs to align with their NDIS plan. Your skills will enable each client to reach a range of cognitive, behavioural, communication, physical and socio-emotional goals while supporting their health and well-being. Work collaboratively and be a part of a supportive and growing multidisciplinary team including Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Dieticians, Support Coordinators and Behaviour Support Practitioners.

Terms: Full time position based in Salisbury, SA.

What you need to succeed?

Qualifications in Music Therapy and:

  • New graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • An ability to communicate and appropriately respond to needs of people of all abilities and cultural backgrounds
  • Work within a client centric approach while maintaining a positive mindset
  • An ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and connect to peers using technology
  • An ability to provide a service based on a client’s NDIS goals and funding allocation
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills
  • Current SA drivers’ license and willingness/ability to travel to clients
