We enable children in Out Of Home Care (OOHC) to achieve to their highest potential. We support their carers and their birth parents to create a safe and secure environment so these children have a safe place to land. The role is an opportunity to case manager children and young people in OOHC and support them, their carers and birth family to achieve the best outcome. This role will see you work in a team which is driven and friendly and committed to the role.
Your role will be in the Foster Care Recruitment and Development Team in Fostering Young Lives to assist in the recruitment of new Foster Carers by completing General Foster Care assessments and supporting applicants through the assessment process and beyond. Bring your out-of-home care or carer recruitment experience and help us recruit and support amazing carers for our children and young people. You will be part of a team that recruits and supports carers. As the assessor, you will utilise a number of strength-based frameworks and risk assessment models to work intensively with children, families and carers in identifying and meeting their support needs whilst in out of home care with carers.

As part of our larger OOHC team, you will work with other Foster Carer Assessors, Case Workers, Psychologists, Speech Pathologist, Senior Practitioner and Team Leader.
