Our Family and Child Connect team have an exciting opportunity for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander professional to join our team covering the Logan catchment, with our office located in Loganholme.
Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will to engage and support Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander families. The role will provide quality service delivery to children, young people, families and the community within the Family and Child Connect service, through assessment, information and advice, recommendations and referrals to appropriate support services. You will engage with referrers and families, complete initial assessments and support at risk families to access appropriate services to improve family functioning, child safety and wellbeing. The role offers specialist consultation to colleagues and team members in the engagement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families across the catchment.
