Your New Role:

As the Child & Family Practitioner - DV Specialist, you will be supporting women and children to build safe, independent lives free from domestic violence. You will increase their housing stability and safety through assessment, case management, advocacy and Court support.

Terms: Full Time Position, based in Maitland, NSW.

Your Experience

  • Degree qualified in social work, psychology or similar
  • At least 2 years case management experience working with women, children and/or families experiencing domestic violence
  • Excellent understanding of child protection issues and client vulnerabilities such as drug and alcohol use, domestic violence, mental health issues, and the impact of trauma
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good relationship building skills
