The Lead Organiser will work with the Campaign Manager to provide day-to-day support to the candidates and volunteers to achieve our field campaign goals for the Federal Election.
Working closely with the campaign team, the Lead Organiser will be instrumental in meeting the campaign’s voter contact goals by supporting and training candidates and volunteers to have thousands of persuasive conversations with Tasmanian voters. This will include door knocking, telephone contact, and connecting with voters through public events.
As part of the Tasmanian Greens commitment to staff, volunteer and candidate wellbeing, the Lead Organiser is responsible for leading a positive tone and culture for the campaign and is sensitive to the physical and mental wellbeing of staff, volunteers and candidates.
The Federal Election will be held between November 2021 and May 2022.
The position is based in the Tasmanian Greens office in Hobart. Intrastate travel, after hours and weekend work will be required.
