About the role

The Director Financial Audit Services is a key leadership position within the Tasmanian Audit Office. This role requires a highly motivated and experienced professional to direct and coordinate audits and lead a team of auditors to achieve the Office's mission. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence.

This role will directly influence government policies and practices, ensuring that public funds are used responsibly and effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing a team of audit professionals
• Overseeing the delivery of high-quality assurance services
• Contributing to the strategic direction of the Office
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
