The Role

FRACGP/VR GP with LGBTIQ+, sexual or older peoples health interest desired for well established clinic in New Town (Hobart) Tasmania, with links to aged care facilities, LGBTIQ+ organisations, sexual health services and national peak organisations working in the area of blood borne viruses and harm reduction.

This is a great lifestyle role for a FRACGP/VR GP to work part time or full time hours in a long established and successful AGPAL accredited clinic, with significant patient growth opportunities, free on-site parking, and only a short walk from coffee shops, restaurants, gyms, retail and more.

The Client

TasCAHRD has a long history of working with community and government in the area of blood borne virus education, capacity building and referral services for PLHIV and harm reduction for people living with or at risk of HIV, Hepatitis and STI's; and for over 35 years has been a progressive voice and ally of the LGBTIQ+ community.

Our vision is for a Tasmania free of stigma and discrimination which manifests in a desire to support our services users and the broader community with access to inclusive, safe and affordable primary healthcare.
