About Take Two

Take Two is a state-wide service providing high quality therapeutic services to children and young people who have suffered significant abuse, neglect or disrupted attachment and are clients of Child Protection.We work with the traumatised child, and with their caregivers, families and communities. We help them understand the child’s trauma, and how it’s impacting their development and behaviours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Senior Managers to ensure that Take Two staff practice within this scope and according to AHPRA guidelines
  • Provide clinical supervisions and training to psychologists and provisional psychologists
  • Keep abreast of relevant AHPRA guidelines and policies and communicate/provide consultation to Take Two registered psychologists
  • Oversee the management and appropriate use of Psychology Restricted materials

About You

We are seeking a qualified Psychologist with a current AHPRA registration. The successful applicant will have a sound understanding of the complexities of the service system and experience within supporting young people, children and families within the sector and has a sound knowledge of trauma, attachment, child development and systemic work.
