Take Two is a state-wide service providing high quality therapeutic services to children and young people who have suffered significant abuse, neglect or disrupted attachment and are clients of Child Protection. We work with the traumatised child, and with their caregivers, families and communities. We help them understand the child’s trauma, and how it’s impacting their development and behaviours.
Berry Street’s Take Two program is looking for an expression of interest for Casual Senior Clinicians and Clinicians within our state wide program, please register your interest and your application will be considered for upcoming opportunities within the casual pool.
The office location is flexible within the region. This includes:
Western region: Ballarat - Wadawurrung Country, Flemington - Wurundjeri Country or Geelong - Wathaurong Country.
South Eastern/Gippsland region: Noble Park – Boonwurrung Country or Gippsland - Gunaikurnai Country.
Northern region: Shepparton - Yorta Yorta Country, Eaglemont - Wurundjeri Country, Bendigo - Dja Dja Wurrung Country, Mildura - Latji Latji Country and Seymour - Taungurung Country.
The casual role will work within the many Take Two programs providing individual, dyadic and systemic client facing services pending on the current need.
We are seeking qualified Senior Clinicians/Clinicians who have relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline. You will have a sound understanding of the complexities of the service system, a demonstrated ability to provide direct service in the clinical assessment and treatment of young people and families, and a sound understanding and demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and workers.
