About the Role:

The Manager, Information and Training provides operational management of relevant business units and projects across Queensland that lead the localised development of initiatives improving knowledge management, organisational learning, efficiency and business performance.

The position will act as a critical connector between State Management representatives and supporting organisational functions to strengthen efficiency of resourcing activities and implementation strategies with relation to information, referral and training activities.

In addition:

  • Degree qualified in Business, Training and Education, Projects or equivalent
  • Experience developing and implementing business plans and strategies
  • Have the demonstrated ability to communicate and liaise effectively and sensitively at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Strong leadership capability
  • The ability to influence and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, direct reports, external organisations, funding bodies and government agencies
  • Experience in developing and sustaining a network of professional relationships with funding agencies and other partners in the community services sector is desirable
  • Proven time management skills and the ability to balance conflicting priorities and work to tight deadlines.
