Donor Communications and Campaigns Manager

Sydney Theatre Company

THE DEPARTMENT

The Philanthropy department develops, drives and manages a comprehensive fundraising program that includes: a capital campaign to secure funding for STC’s Wharf renovations, a major gift program that funds STC’s mainstage program, resident artist programs, as well as education, outreach and community programs. A legacy gift program and an endowment. These programs all draw from direct marketing communications, campaigns and customer relationship management activities that secure support and engagement from multiple segments within STC’s broad audience base.

The Role

As a member of the Philanthropy management team, the Donor Communications and Campaigns Manager is responsible for the implementation of the strategy, planning and optimisation of one-to-many fundraising initiatives focused on donor engagement, conversion and revenue goals.

The Donor Communications and Campaigns Manager role is the chief storyteller to connect the people who participate in these programs with our donor base – so it is a hugely important and empowering role – it gives them a voice.

The Donor Communications and Campaigns Manager is responsible for data insights and leads the Annual Giving team to develop and manage seasonal fundraising campaigns based on data driven discoveries.

The Donor Communications and Campaigns Manager is responsible for the delivery of donor specific communications and messaging across STC printed materials as well as STC owned digital channels including social media, email marketing and company websites.
