South West Sydney Legal Centre is funded by the State and Federal Governments to deliver legal and quasi-legal services to the disadvantaged of the Liverpool, Fairfield and Canterbury-Bankstown Local Government areas. We are known for our proactive and energetic approach to service delivery and community engagement initiatives. This position provides the opportunity for rewarding and constructive engagement on both professional and community levels.

We are searching for a proficient, self-motivated, dynamic and well-organised solicitor with demonstrated minimum solid 3 years post admission civil litigation & criminal law casework and related court advocacy experience. Your advanced experience with driving offence matters will be particularly valued. Your excellent and flexible interpersonal and communication skills will be utilised to engage with clients and stakeholders from a very broad cultural background.

You must hold a current NSW Law Society Practicing Certificate, driver license with ability to use your own vehicle (generous travel reimbursement applies) and ideally be in a position to commence employment in or before September 2020. Proficiency in a second language is very desirable.
