Support Welfare Services is a community based organisation located on the Mornington Peninsula. It provides exceptional services to NDIS participants with mental health disabilities who are requiring support with choices they make during their NDIS journey.
Tasks & responsibilities
Main duties and tasks include but are not limited to:
- Supporting individuals to achieve their NDIS goals through day-to-day activities
- Encouraging independence and assist with participants day-to-day needs
- Providing services to participants in a range of settings; activities both based in their home and within the local community
Qualifications & experience
- Experience working in the disability field
- An appropriate qualification is desirable or a willing to take on further studies
- Possess a or willing to undertake a NDIS Worker Screening
- A broad and relevant life experience

- Be able to work autonomously
- Be able to work with people of differing abilities
- Be able to build strong supportive relationships with participants
- Have a calm, caring and proactive manner
- Must have drivers license and own vehicle
- Clear national Police Check
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
