We are seeking a Digital Media Producer to support Professor Kath Albury’s Australian Research Council Future Fellowship: ‘Digital and data capabilities for sexual health policy and practice’. The project aims to improve Australian health workforce digital capabilities relating to sexual health and wellbeing, including issues related to social media cultures, content moderation and regulation, platform governance, data privacy and data security.
Working closely with Prof Kath Albury and Dr Samantha Mannix, you will assist with developing materials for research translation and produce a toolkit of accessible digital resources (including web content, social media and video podcasts). Project outputs will support the Australian sexual and reproductive workforce’s capacity to understand and meet the digital sexual health needs of young adults (18-29 years). This project is aligned with the Swinburne node of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S).
This role is scoped as 0.8FTE (4 days per week) for three months, with some capacity for flexibility.
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
Equity, diversity, and inclusion are integral to the ADM+S Centre’s mission: to create knowledge and strategies for responsible, ethical, and inclusive automated decision-making (ADM). The Centre recognises that racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and ableism are principal obstacles to equity, diversity and inclusion, and remain primary causes of injustice and inequality. We believe that responsible, ethical, and inclusive ADM can deliver broad social benefits, including reducing inequalities for disadvantaged and vulnerable groups. Women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, the LGBTIQ+ community, people living with disability and those from a culturally and linguistically diverse background, are strongly encouraged to apply.
