Cleaning / Laundry Assistants - Maroochydore

We are seeking expressions of interest from Cleaning/Laundry staff to join our casual pool. With the predicted workforce shortages in the coming months, this is an excellent opportunity to join our team and really make a difference to the lives of others.

St Vincent's Care Services (SVCS) have aged care facilities located at Maroochydore that operates 7 days/24 hours per day. We are seeking Cleaning/Laundry team members to provide relief cover ensuring we continue to provide an excellent level of cleaning and personal laundry for our residents.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:

  • Prior experience in a similar role in aged care
  • The ability to perform cleaning duties in an efficient and timely manner
  • Experience in identifying unserviceable or defect cleaning equipment
  • The ability to generate a monthly report on the unserviceable or defect cleaning equipment and notify to the reporting manager
  • A genuine desire to provide excellent cleaning support and a pride in maintaining a consistently clean environment
  • A friendly approach towards all internal and external customers
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
