St Vincent's Care Services (SVCS) have an aged care facility located at Maroochydore that operates 7 days/24 hours per day. We are seeking Care Workers to be available for relief cover at our various facilities as required. This will ensure our facilities continue to provide a high standard of care to our residents during this challenging period.

Your role:

If you are passionate about improving the lives of the elderly, by providing a consistently high level of care and support including grooming, showering, mobility, meals, toileting, social activities, this may be a great opportunity to join our team.

About you

You will be caring, positive, with a genuine desire to do all that you can to improve the lives of our residents. It is expected that you will have:

• Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care or similar qualification essential
• Previous experience in aged care is preferable
• Sound computer skills are essential
• An ability to provide personal care that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation
• Ability to follow directives as per care plan
• An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• National Criminal History Check (or ability to obtain)
