The position

The SVA Consulting team is looking for a Manager to join our team. Supported by our Principals and Directors, Managers work on client projects as part of a broader project team. While no two client projects are the same, Managers are typically responsible for leading and/or contributing to problem-solving, data analysis, coaching and managing more junior team members, project oversight and client engagement. This includes scoping project work based on client needs and developing and managing work plans for the team. For context, a typical project lasts between three to six months, and you will typically work on multiple projects at a time.

Who you are

If you are driven by excellence, self-motivated and have the ability to ensure key tasks and requirements are taken through to completion, then you should consider applying! We are looking for someone who has recent experience working in a problem-solving role, preferably with experience in management/strategy consulting (5+ years). We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of, and passion for, working on society's most important challenges. Previous experience in research, data modelling and analysis, building presentations and report is critical. You will also have strong interpersonal skills and work well in a team environment.

As a Manager, you will often drive the problem solving on a project, breaking down complex problems and developing effective and efficient ways to solve for clients’ needs. You will need a strong understanding of strategic consulting tools and the ability to lead junior team members in developing these skills. With strong relationship and project management skills, you will be known for your experience in facilitating and working within a multi-stakeholder environment. Your ability to build and enhance a range of relationships with stakeholders and achieve impact in diverse settings will be key to your success.
