The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) is a DFAT accredited, non-government organisation working on health and development programs with our partners across Asia and the Pacific. Our Global Health Program focuses on strengthening health systems and building capacity of the health workforce to improve the quality and accessibility of health services, surgical treatment and post-operative care for the communities we work with across 15 countries in the Asia-Pacific.
We are looking for an experienced and committed Grants and Partnership Advisor to support our department’s program development, advocacy, and grants/partnership management.
This position is based in the RACS Global Health Department in Spring St, East Melbourne.
Reporting to the Grants and Partnerships Manager, the Grants and Partnerships Advisor will support the RACS GH department in grants and partnership management to enable program development, grants compliance, effective advocacy and partnership management to all donors, including DFAT, MFAT, INGO’s, Philanthropic and the RACS Foundation for Surgery.
The role will also support acquisition and establishment of institutional and foundation grants and partnerships to achieve a diverse and sustainable grants portfolio for GH department. This will require effectively engaging with the sector, institutional donors, and partners. This position will lead and coordinate grants bid/ proposal development and submission.
The Grants and Partnerships Advisor will assist system improvements to support grants acquisition and management. You will be responsible for implementing new grants management systems, procedures, and tools with the GH team, RACS departments and to the partners.
This role will be offered on a fixed-term, two-year contract and based in Melbourne.
