We are expanding our caring team to assist a participant who requires 24/7 daily living and memory care support in our SIL Home located in Forest Glen, Sunshine Coast.

Supported Care Accommodation (SCA) enables people with disabilities to live the life they choose to live by providing supported independent living accommodation with SIL home care supports on the Sunshine Cost, Qld.

As a disability support worker for SCA you’ll be part of a well-supported, professional team that works together collaboratively and with huge compassion.

Your goal will be to bring joy to those you care for by helping to empower our residents to live independently, lead full and happy lives they choose, within a caring and supportive home environment. Your success will help disability participant to live their best life. While simultaneously increasing your own dementia knowledge and skills set by caring for a dementia client. 

Disability Support Workers responsibilities includes, providing practical support such as household tasks and personal care, supporting and monitoring health care needs, assistance with showering and grooming, administering medication from webster packs, supporting clients to pursue hobbies and interests, assistance with community access, providing emotional support, assisting with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, washing and shopping, making case notes, accompanying care participants to appointments and undertaking administrative duties.
