What the role about:

Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner - Corporate Services. We are looking for an experienced, innovative, forward thinking, proactive, flexible and highly personable HR Advisor to join our team.

In this role you will be working with line managers to build and implement Human Resources solutions in line with Unisson's vision, goals and values. You will support and influence stakeholders around Recruitment and Selection, Performance Management, IR & ER advise & investigations, and general HR policies and projects. You will be part of a supportive team of ten.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in the disability sector (preferable, however not essential)
  • Previous experience in HR Advisory role (minimum 2 years)
  • Ability to interpret awards, employment law and legislation
  • Experience in managing multiple projects and competing deadlines, planning and organising work schedules and demonstrating initiative when working without direct supervision
  • Commitment to the values, vision and mission of the organisation including leadership and implementation
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
  • Outstanding planning, organising, presentation and leadership skills
  • Be able to influence the leadership team through advising, coaching and developing skills in others
  • Emotional intelligence, resilience and physical capacity to perform the work required
  • An understanding of working within personal and professional boundaries in a multicultural environment
  • Have a positive and team-oriented attitude
  • Initiative and self-motivation
  • Personal and professional integrity
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, and/or completion of appropriate work-related study in relevant field
  • A current NSW driver's licence (P2/Full)
