What's the role about?

We are looking for organised and motivated professional who can effectively communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders. This role is responsible for maintaining customer accounts, maximising cash inflow, collecting overdue amounts and following up accounts to minimise debt loss.

Some role specific responsibilities include;

  • Actively perform debt collection with support of team members
  • Ensure all customer account inquiries are handled by promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and minimise bad debts loss
  • Create and implement strategies to increase the number of successful collections on outstanding debt.
  • Run reports and analyse data to determine best course of action with support of Finance Manager
  • Review and report on Aged Debtors
  • Manage write-offs, bad debts provisions and setting up of payment plans
  • Supervise a direct report, including building internal capability and mentoring

Ideal Candidate (Key Criteria):

  • Tertiary qualification in Business or Accounting
  • Leadership Experience (preferred)
  • Proven work experience as a Credit/Collection Manager
  • NDIS knowledge (highly desirable)
  • Current Full NSW driving license along with willingness and ability to drive fleet vehicles
  • The ability to work independently without supervision, collaborate with others and contribute positively in a team environment
  • Problem solving skills, flexibility and lateral thinking
  • Good planning and organising skills
  • Ability to deal with stressful situations
  • Excellent analytical skill
  • Excellent teamwork along with good communication skill
  • Emotional intelligence, resilience and physical capacity to perform the work required
