About the role

As a Reporting Analyst you will provide support to the business by analysing data and providing reports to assist in improving performance, to manage risk and for business growth. This role will include monthly KPI reporting, competitor analysis, NDIA market data analysis and ad-hoc analysis and reporting to provide support across the business.

This role is for a 12 month contract with potential for extension. It is a part time 45.6 hours per fortnight (3 days per week) opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide monthly KPI reporting by accessing reports from multiple sources
  • Use excel skills to manipulate large sets of data e.g. lookups and pivot tables
  • Use excel to manipulate data from the NDIA website into meaningful information
  • Search competitor websites and contact competitors to help the business with making strategic decisions
  • Assist with budget and year-end financial reporting
  • Conduct commercial analysis, prepare reports, input data and deliver results and reports as requested
  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting, working with a range of stakeholders across the business
  • Supporting the Senior strategy analyst with business cases and strategy work as required

About you

  • Intermediate Excel skills required
  • High attention to detail
  • Bachelor in Business or relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and multi-task
  • Strong oral, written and general communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
