Payroll Officer - Allambie Heights

Sunnyfield is a large not-for-profit organisation with a Person Centred approach to providing services to people with disability.

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer, whose role will be processing Sunnyfield's payroll in an accurate and timely manner. This is a new role, additional resource in an growing organisation.

About the role: 

  • End to end processing of Sunnyfield's payroll
  • Updating and maintaining payroll records
  • Reconciliation and payment of superannuation contributions
  • Payroll reporting to meet internal and statutory obligations
  • Liaising with staff managing payroll related enquiries
  • Interpreting awards/ agreements and contracts

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum 2 years' payroll experience
  • Experience using Chris 21
  • Experience interpreting awards and agreements
  • Intermediate user of Excel with demonstrated experience of data analysis
  • Attention to detail and data analysis skills
  • Problem solving ability and strong analytical and numeracy skills
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work to a deadline
