Sunnyfield is a large non for profit organisation who have been creating choice and opportunity for people living with a disability for over 67 years. We empower individuals to work towards their goals, increase independence, develop skills and participate as valued and active members of our community.

We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join one of our group homes in Terrey Hills, Northern Beaches, in a 40 hrs contract a fortnight.

About the role:

• Supporting 5 active clients to live independently in their own home, creating a positive environment to live in.
• Supporting clients with medical appointments, transportation, personal care and domestic tasks such as menu planning, cooking and cleaning.
• Integration in the community and active support
• Working outside business hours, weekends and sleepovers shifts are required.  

The must haves:

• Full NSW driver's license
• First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Working With Children's Card
• Willingness to work outside standard 9 to 5 business hours
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team
• Positive attitude towards people with disabilities
• Intermediate computer skills & system savvy
• Experience in supporting people with intellectual disabilities is desirable
