• Permanent Part Time 15 hours per fortnight - Community Hub in Maitland

Sunnyfield is a not-for-profit organisation. We take great pride in supporting individuals with disability to achieve their goals, build independence, develop life skills and participate as active members of the community.

We're looking for an innovative, empowering and passionate support worker to deliver services within group based programs at our community hubs and deliver individual supports to people with disability in their home or community.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working in the disability sector
• Experience in behaviour support
• Passion for developing and nurturing partnerships with families, guardians and in building inclusive communities
• NSW driver's license
• Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Availability to work Monday to Friday during the day with some weekends and evening shifts
• Available to work across multiple locations that could include Kurri Kurri, Maitland and Lake Macquarie
• Peg feeding, manual handling, epilepsy and medication training desirable
• Ability to work independently & as part of a team
• Intermediate computer skills & system savvy
