The Role

An outstanding senior leadership opportunity has become available within our Housing Brokerage Service team.

The Housing Brokerage Service Manager is responsible for leading the Housing Brokerage Service from pilot program through to a self-sustaining national service. Reporting to the CEO, the Housing Brokerage Service Manager is an integral member of Summer Foundation. The Manager works with the Housing Hub team / Health Services / Government / NDIA / allied health professionals / external stakeholders / people leaving hospital with high and complex disability needs / family members and the Executive Team to ensure young people with disability who are at risk of entering Aged Care due to a housing barrier are consistently, thoroughly and sustainably supported to achieve housing outcomes which align with their needs and preferences.

About you

You are a qualified, highly experienced and successful leader who has worked within the Health sector, with a solid understanding of the NDIS and Disability Sector. Experienced in developing and successfully implementing business strategy and business plans, you have significant success in leading people and teams as well as managing projects. Leadership experience in a social enterprise or for purpose organisations would be highly regarded.

Employment basis

  • Ongoing / 1.0-0.8 FTE.
  • Box Hill, Victoria location and work from home.
  • Employment is subject to National Police History Check.
