Your new role:

This permanent full-time Warehouse General Hand role is based at our Armidale Distribution Centre 2350. You will support Truck Drivers and Forklift Drivers in this busy distribution centre. There's a variety of activities that require physical fitness and compliance with safe work procedures. A great sense of team spirit will enable you to contribute to the team's goal of ensuring that stock are distributed to Vinnies shops in a timely and efficient manner.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist in loading trucks for distribution of stock to Vinnies shops
  • Assist in unloading donations and sorting stock from incoming trucks
  • Assist at the Food Barn as required
  • Ensure general cleanliness is maintained within the premises
  • Comply with all relevant WHS standards and procedures at all times.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Experience in working in a warehouse facility
  • Physical fitness to perform manual tasks
  • Thorough knowledge of manual handling and Work Health and Safety procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
