Your new role:

Unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Quality Partner to join Vinnies NSW in this newly created role, reporting directly to the Clinical Governance and Quality Director. You will lead the development and delivery of a business-wide Quality Framework in the Vinnies Services directorate. Your stakeholder management skills will be invaluable as you forge partnerships with leaders to ensure the successful implementation of the framework, quality review and improvement projects, accreditation and audit development and implementation. You will play an influential role in supporting a culture of continuous improvement in the vital services that Vinnies provide.

More about the role:

  • Support the development & lead the delivery of the Quality & Clinical Governance Framework across Vinnies.
  • Lead external program accreditation/audit processes with other Society Divisions (i.e NDIS Standards, Aged Care, RACGP, Health &Community Services Standards and Clinical Care Standards.
  • Develop and evaluate operational and clinical care policies and practices ensuring compliance with governing legislation, regulators and evidenced based best practice.
  • Lead dynamic and evidence based education and training on client safety and clinical improvement methodology.
  • Provide leadership in improving and sustaining the quality and effectiveness of clinical care delivered across the organisation.
  • Lead and oversee quality improvement projects, quality audits and monitoring to support continuous service improvement.
  • Develop and implement tools and resources to support internal quality audits.
  • Provide leadership and direction to key employees & stakeholders who are developing local quality processes and procedures.

More about you, you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s and experience working in healthcare or the social services or related sectors.
  • High-level expertise in developing and implementing quality frameworks.
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop and implement a continuous improvement system.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and to think outside the box in your approach to problem-solving issues that arise.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to develop reports, briefing papers, and other documents accurately and in short time frames.
  • High-level understanding of current issues facing the not-for-profit industry and incorporated not-for-profit organisations.
  • St Vincent de Paul (NSW) has a COVID- 19 vaccination policy that has identified this role as requiring a full COVID-19 vaccination. Medical exemptions with the NSW government contraindication form will be considered, subject to a satisfactory risk assessment.
