The St Vincent de Paul Society is a leading provider of community support services and has been assisting people experiencing disadvantage in NSW for more than 130 years. Our people reach out to the most vulnerable in our community through our Conferences, Special Works and Vinnies shops. This position is in the Vinnies Services directorate and part of the Sydney Archdiocese Disability Services provides a stable and safe environment that supports people with disability to develop their confidence, life skills and independence. Our programs include centre-based and recreational day programs as well as respite and longer-term accommodation services.
The Living Skills Support Worker is responsible for the direct care and capacity building of people with disability in accordance with individual participant's care plan.
