Mallee District Aboriginal Services is a community based organisation which is a major service provider for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The Community Based Mental Health Clinician is expected to be adept at making mental status assessments of clients, including new clients not previously seen by a doctor.

Provide professional and confidential counselling services to facilitate healing and improvements in the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

All clients with complex Mental Health issues need to be referred to Clinical & Therapeutic Mental Health worker for secondary consult and ongoing care if required.
