Role Overview:

  • The role of the Service Manager is to oversee and monitor the delivery of Client services within the region.
  • Responsibilities will encompass providing consultation, assistance and management of budgets, funding compliance and developing and motivating employees.
  • This role is critical in ensuring the efficient, safe and effective delivery of quality services through the National Disability Insurance Scheme, Primary Health Network and State funded Services.  
  • You will provide leadership to a team of passionate and dedicated Support Coordinators and Support Workers.

Requirements:

  • Ideally a Degree/Diploma/Cert IV in a Human services related discipline 
  • Current or previous leadership experience is highly desired
  • Demonstrated experience in Support Coordination and/or Support Work
  • Experience in NDIS service delivery
  • In depth understanding of issues pertaining to mental illness and the impact on individuals
  • Ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with the community and staff
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision making skills, as well as the ability to work to timeframes, meet deadlines, and work in challenging situations
  • Competency in administration and documentation
  • Excellent computer skills including the use of Word, Excel, Outlook and databases
  • A current driver’s license, personal vehicle available for work purposes and willingness to travel
