Role overview:

Our new Strategic Plan prioritises the need to Learn and Influence. We want to be a leader in this space, generating and using evidence to improve our impact, prove what works and to shape policy settings across the sector. This new role will be critical in helping Stride achieve its strategic goals.

  • Support the implementation of a new Outcomes Framework; enabling the collection, analysis, reporting and practical use of evidence of our impact
  • Assist with the design, implementation and management of the Research and Evaluation Plan
  • Support service teams to use evidence to improve the quality of services
  • Support the coordination of research projects
  • Support the communication and dissemination of research and evidence via conferences, events and social media
  • Produce insightful reports about service impact and client outcomes

Requirements:

  • Post-graduate research qualifications in mental health
  • 2 years experience supporting research, evaluation and outcomes management
  • Demonstrated ability to apply basic research methodologies and to conduct quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis
  • Experience in use of data analysis software (e.g. SPSS, NVivo)
  • Experience in mental health of children, young people and/or people with persistent mental illness and complex needs
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work autonomously without supervision and as part of a team
  • Highly proficient computer skills including the use of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to work to timeframes, meet deadlines, and work in challenging situations
