Our Service:

headspace centres act as a one-stop-shop for young people who need help with mental health, physical health, alcohol and other drugs and/or work and study support.

Role overview:

Provide program support to the headspace Meadowbrook Individual Placement Support (IPS) and headspace Stride Queensland Community Engagement programs. Overall, the role undertakes a wide range of tasks that support these teams to focus on quality service provision to the young people, their families, service providers and the community. Including but not limited to:

  • Answering and returning calls, booking and confirming appointments for the IPS Program
  • Provide secretarial support in preparing agendas and completing minutes for program meetings 
  • Assist in data input /reporting for program reports
  • Support teams with event coordination, planning and implementation as required 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Cert III in Business Administration or similar qualification
  • At least 2 years experience in a similar Administration role
  • Organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people, particularly youth
  • Experience with reporting and data management
  • Well-developed customer service skills, including the ability to maintain enthusiasm and motivation when dealing with clients
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Understanding of rights to privacy and confidentiality
  • Demonstrated understanding of teamwork and the importance of providing a quality service
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of programs (must be proficient with excel)
  • Has a current unencumbered QLD driver’s licence
