Street Mission is a 100% volunteer based charity operating on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Our goal is to bridge the gap in existing community services to support the needs of disadvantaged people by providing food, linkages to other charities or just listening over a meal.

We operate two community cafés on the Northern Beaches. One is on Wednesday at Dee Why, the other at Balgowlah on Saturday. We have over 100 volunteers across all of our functions. 

We are looking to recruit a Secretary.

The secretary's duties include managing all the organisation's internal communications and preparing or keeping track of board meeting dates, meeting agendas and minutes from the meeting.

The committee at Street Mission has both a governance and operational management function. To that end, we ask that our committee members volunteer at one of our cafés at least once a quarter so they are best placed to make decisions.
