This role will assist the CEO and Management Team to identify and assess the financial and strategic suitability of new and ongoing opportunities for expansion of services, social enterprise and the like, that supports St Patrick’s mission, strategic priorities and operating focus.

We are looking for someone who is passionate and values driven to make a real difference to the community to drive and develop partnerships and opportunities that will support our work with individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in obtaining stable accommodation, independence and improved quality of life.

This will be achieved by actively seeking opportunities to increase government and other service contracts, grants, partnerships, joint ventures, new business models, and fee for service activities within St Patrick’s core business expertise.

The role will ensure development projects are delivered on time and on budget through effective project management methodology and governance and engaging relevant internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver activities.

The role is a part-time 0.6 FTE position based in Fremantle.

The role will:

  • Establish, under direction from the CEO, the priorities for service/social enterprise development and/or expansion, and the intended strategies with respect to realising those objectives.
  • Identify potential sources of funding whether through new tenders aligned with priorities and strategic objectives, regular or ad-hoc grant opportunities, partnerships and so forth
  • Assist the CEO and management team by taking a lead in the preparation of funding applications, responses to tenders and expressions of interest, proposals and the like.
  • Assist the CEO and management team in the initial implementation of new or expanded services or enterprises including recruitment, logistics, documentation
