SFV has an opportunity for a full time contract for an Administration Officer to start immediately and run through until the 17th of December 2021. The role will provide general administration support to the Stopping Family Violence Team. You will be an excellent organiser and communicator, who thrives in a challenging and dynamic work environment. Your ability to take the initiative and be proactive will be highly valued and integral to the success in this role.

Reporting to the Business Manager, duties will include:

  • Answer and respond to telephone and email enquires
  • Provide general administration support to the wider team
  • Diary management for the Leadership team
  • Attend internal meetings to take minutes and follow up on action items
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for the team
  • Order office stationery and any other office supplies
  • Providing general housekeeping to ensure the office and meeting rooms are clean and tidy
  • Any other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required

Skills and experience

  • A minimum 6 months experience in a similar role in Administration and Reception.
  • An eagerness to grow and take on responsibility.
  • A professional, positive and friendly manner.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a small team.
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Capacity to problem solve.
  • Someone who thrives on change and can adapt with a flexible nature.
  • The successful candidate will be required to provide a Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.

Please note that Victoria Park will be the primary location but some work may be required from our Fremantle location as well. This position is under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award [MA000100]. Dependent on experience the rate of pay is Level 1 - pay point 3 or Level 2 - pay point 1.
