The City of Stonnington has an exciting opportunity for a Youth Support Worker to join our Middle Years and Youth Services Unit located at Grattan Gardens Community Centre, Prahran.

This position is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a broad range of youth engagement and participation programs at various locations that respond to the interests and needs of young people aged 12 to 25 years.

The successful applicant will be a dynamic and proactive individual who has significant experience in:

  • Developing and delivering innovative youth engagement and youth participation programs
  • Recruiting young people and promoting programs including use of social media platforms
  • Experience facilitating groups and working in schools
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Liaising with stakeholders to build strong partnerships and collaborations
  • Demonstrated skills in working with young people in a case management capacity is also preferred
