• Full-time Diploma/Certificate III Educator for our Preschool (Cookie) Room

St Nics' Christian Preschool is seeking a Diploma or Certificate III qualified educators to join our thriving preschool room team. St Nics' Christian Preschool is a Long Day Care Service located in the heart of Coogee. We are a not-for-profit service striving  to provide the best quality of care to the families we serve in our community. We are focused on providing excellent christian early childhood education and care. Our thriving and intimate community fosters warm relationships between educators, children and families. 

We are seeking a full-time Diploma or Certificate III qualified Educator willing to work between the hours of 7:30am-18:00pm, Monday- Friday. 

We are seeking applicants who are hard-working, take initiative and will be able to warmly interact with colleagues, children and families. We are specifically excited to meet candidates who align with our Educational Philosophy of both intentional teaching and child-led learning and someone who is keen to bring their skills and expertise to our team.

Candidates will be responsible for building strong and positive relationships with children, colleagues and families, sharing the load of the physical and emotional care of children, assisting with programming and planning inclusive of written observations and daily diaries, and general duties such as keeping learning environments ordered and stimulating for the children.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

• An ACECQA approved qualification of either a Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
• At least one year experience in a similar role
• A current and fully cleared paid Working With Children Check
• A current First Aid Certificate from an approved training institute
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Strong written and verbal skills, inclusive of computer literacy
• An understanding of the EYLF, NQS, NQF and National Regulations
• An understanding of Christianity and an eagerness to work in a Christian environment, active Christians are encouraged to apply
