St Nics Christian Preschool is a not-for-profit long day care service located a block from Coogee Beach in the Eastern Suburbs. Our community is close and friendly made up of families, staff and the wider church community from St Nicolas' Anglican Church next door. We are open fifty weeks a year between 7:30am - 6:00pm.

About the role

You will be the first point of contact for families attending St. Nics' Christian Preschool located heart of Coogee . This 39 Children placement centre offers services to many families around the wider Coogee community. You will be required to communicate with families on a daily basis as well as administration duties for the management team of the centre. Your attention to detail and communication skills will see you do well in this role.

We are seeking a part-time Administration Officer who is able to work Monday to Friday from 8:00am-3:00 pm commencing in January 2021.

Skills and experience

Selection Criteria

Essential

• Clear Working With Children Check
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
• Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work with flexibly and with limited supervision
• Demonstrated capacity to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines.
• Good computer skills, including email, Apple computers and Apple products.
• Experience in Administration in an Early Education and Care Service.

Desirable

• Current First Aid Training, including Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management.
• An understanding of Christianity and an eagerness to work in a Christian environment. Active Christians are encouraged to apply.
